Women should be Granted more Political opportunities- Sanusi II

Speaking at his palace today the emir of Kano Alhj. Sanusi II has called on political parties to grant to women more opportunities so that they can bring into light that motherly and home building qualities God has bestowed on them.

According to the emir, women are very special and vital to the development of every human society as such men must recognise and respect them by giving them the chance to contribute.

The emir called on religious leaders, traditional leaders and every person occupying any position in the society to assist the women to become great particularly by making sure every female child is enroled into a school for formal education for gone were the days when people think that "women education end in the kitchen" Women are the bed rock of every society. He added.
