Atiku submits presidentialform to APC

FORMER Vice President, Alhaji Atiku
Abubakar, on Monday, returned his

expression of interest and the nomination
form ahead of the presidential primaries
of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Alhaji Atiku, while submitting the form,
said that he would continue to be loyal
and dedicated party member, no matter
the outcome of the party primary.

According to him, “I want to, therefore,
use this opportunity to return the two
forms I collected— expression of interest
and nomination forms, duly completed. I
want to thank you again for the
opportunity.

In his brief remarks, APC’s national
chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun,
applauded the former vice president for
his statemanship, saying “you have
properly exemplified what APC stands for-
well organised and seeking to be the first
in everything, putting as priority the
welfare of the people of this country.

Meanwhile, the presidential bid of Alhaji
Atiku Abubakar, on the platform of the
APC received a boost on Monday, as
Adamawa state executive of the party
endorsed his aspiration to clinch the APC
presidential ticket ahead the party’s
primaries in Abuja.

At a press conference by Adamawa State
APC addressed by the chairman of the
party in the state, Honourable Binta Masi
Garba also maintained that the former
vice president remained a rare politician in
the country with quality leadership skills.
