Jonathan’s Victory Will Be Total On Feb 14 – Dickson
Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, has declared that there is no division in the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) saying the victory of President Goodluck Jonathan in the February 14, presidential election will be total.
Governor Seriake Dickson, who was speaking at the weekend during the inauguration of the 420 member committee to champion the re-election campaign of President Goodluck Jonathan in the state, said the whole state is for PDP.
According to him, “There are few angry people who have gone to the Angry Peoples Party. But every vote is for the president. There is no need for campaigns because this is a PDP state as well as president’s state.The Bayelsa PDP is peaceful, and called on the people to reject division and unnecessary rancour.”
“The base of PDP is safe and calm. There is no time for division and unnecessary acrimony,” he declared.
Governor Dickson commended members of the party for standing by the president, stressing that PDP is an all inclusive party for all Nigerians. He, however, noted that the job is not yet done until the president is re-elected, and called for all hands to be on deck to ensure that President Jonathan is returned to office.
Dickson charged the committee to work assiduously to sell the programmes of the Transformation Agenda of the president to the people.He appreciated members of the party for standing by the president, stressing that PDP is an all inclusive party for all Nigerians.

The governor stated that the activities of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN, are inimical to the interest of the state, insisting that he is the only one that would lead the campaign for the President’s re-election in the state.
Speaking to the party candidates that were presented the PDP flag he described them as his candidates as well as the President’s candidates.He lauded the peaceful way they emerged at the primaries and urged them to be civil while going about the campaigns in line with his non violence posture.
